Nuad Thai · The spa at Al Ghazal Golf Club

Traditional Thai healing, brought to Abu Dhabi.

The practice

A 2,500-year-old sequence, kept intact.

Nuad Thai was inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2019. It is not a spa product. It is a medical tradition of compression, rhythmic rocking and assisted stretch, worked along the body's energy lines on a floor mat, fully clothed.

Restore the mind, body and spirit.

We are a small floor inside a golf club, not a hotel wellness wing — and that is the point. No retail counter, no upsell script, no thirty-minute wait to be seated. Qualified therapists, an honest price list that starts at AED 100, and a sauna you are welcome to use before or after without asking.

Questions we are asked most

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome when a therapist is free, but booking online confirms your slot instantly and takes about a minute. Same-day is usually available, including the late evening — the floor is open until midnight, every day.

What do I wear?

For traditional Thai massage you stay fully clothed in loose cotton attire that we provide — there is no oil and nothing to undress for. Oil, aroma and deep-tissue treatments are on a table with towels, in the usual way.

Can I use the sauna and hinoki bath without a treatment?

Yes. A day pass is AED 100 and covers the sauna, the hinoki jacuzzi and the cold bath for the day. Showers, lockers and towels are included, and you can add a treatment to the same visit at any point.

How late can I come?

The spa is open every day from 10 AM until midnight, and the last booking is taken at 11 PM. If you are arriving on a late flight, book before you land so the slot is held for you.

Where exactly are you, and where do I park?

Inside the Al Ghazal Golf Club clubhouse on Zayed International Airport Road, in Al Matar — about ten minutes from the terminals and a straight run in from the city. Parking is free and directly outside; the spa is past reception.

Is it adults only?

Yes. The spa floor is adults only, which is what keeps the sauna, the hinoki bath and the resting area quiet.
